ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- BOH EMPLOYEE
Summary: Ensures all menu items are prepared to company specifications and is responsible for maintaining high levels of food sanitation and safety.
Reports To: General Manager
Demonstrates helpful, positive attitude toward customers, team members and managers.
Arrives to work on time, neat and well-groomed for every shift, in a clean and proper uniform
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
Adheres to all of Salem s Fresh Eats safety and sanitation procedures.
Sets up, maintains and restocks work area.
Operates all equipment safely.
Adheres to health department codes.
Ensures proper portioning.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Be able to reach, bend, stoop,and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
